Why this house exists
Beau Dugas grew up around quiet money — the kind that never announces itself. The watches he remembers weren't trophies; they were heirlooms, worn thin at the lugs and handed down with a story.
He spent the better part of fifteen years learning the trade the slow way: at auction previews, in back rooms, and across the bench from watchmakers who could spot a swapped dial from across a table. The lesson stuck — a watch is only worth what its provenance can prove.
Le Collectif Horloger is the house he wished existed when he started: private, patient, and obsessive about authentication. No pressure, no theater — just the right piece, properly vetted, handed over the way it should be.

Every watch runs the same gauntlet, coming and going. Here is what happens before a piece ever reaches your wrist.
We acquire through a vetted network — collectors, estates, and trusted trade — not the open churn of the secondary market.
Movement, case, dial, and paperwork are examined against reference. Anything questionable is rejected, not discounted.
We build a private digital record — photos, measurements, service history, and inspection notes — that travels with the watch.
Consignments and returns are re-authenticated and condition-logged, so the record is never broken.
